KUM Pencil Grips

KUM developed an active cooperation with Dr. Johanna Barbara Sattler, an expert authority in developing ergonomic school products to produce the Sattler Grip - an innovation which gently guides the fingers into the ergonomically correct writing position to provide an ideal writing aid for left- and right-handed persons. This product facilitates not only the development of the fine motor skills essential in writing but also helps eliminate fatigue. 

The Sattler Grip features a Pressure Feedback System which cushions the pressure and prevents the user from holding the writing instrument too tightly. It is perfectly suited to either left or right-handed persons and the pliable and pleasant feeling material is guaranteed free of toxic substances and eliminates the risk of allergenic reaction. Fits most pencil, pen and brush diameters.

The Sattler Tri-Grip helps facilitate the ideal tripod-grip, essential for developing writing skills. The user’s fingers are intuitively guided into the correct writing position indicated by the depressions for index finger and thumb and the knobby surface for middle finger. The slightly slanted front side of the Tri-Grip lets the user better see what they have written and does not impair visibility of the pencil/pen point. The non-slip surface ensures a secure hold.
